Driving the Car Level 1 1/4 Mile

This is not the fastest possible tuning for the Mazda RX-8 in the game, but it is a very strong set-up that is capable of finishing the 1/4 mile race in 12.5 seconds flat.

• The perfect start is hard to catch with this car, but keeping your RPMs between 4 and 7 for the start will usually hit a good, if not perfect shift.
• Hit your nitrous as soon as you switch into 2nd gear. 3rd, 4th, and 5th gear will become progressively easier to perfect, but every gear is still pretty tight and can be difficult to time.
