Upgrades and Tuning: Renault Clio V6 Sport

The Renault Clio is a bit of a tricky car for level 1, but there is no mistaking the potential in this car and its ability to present serious competition to any racer in level 1 or 2. You won't be besting the Honda S2000 in level 1 with this car, but that doesn't mean that you can't beat your friends Supra, RX-8, BMW or Golf for the fastest 1/2 mile time with this surprisingly powerful vehicle.

Driving the Car Level 1 1/2 Mile

You are going to have quite a bit of tire spin and smoke (if activated in your settings) at the start of the race with this car. The powerful engine combined with all the weight reductions make the rubber really burn, but you can still get a fantastic 1/2 mile time of about 19.73 seconds - pretty impressive for a car that remains under the radar of most people.

Go for a perfect start, but switch into 2nd gear slightly before the perfect shift to stop the tires from spinning. The rest of the gears are pretty easy and will hit their perfect shift at just over 7000 RPMs.
