Upgrades and Tuning: Honda S2000

Simply put, the Honda S2000 is the best level 1 car. If you want to quickly earn lots of money and respect points from the moment you start racing, you probably want to start with the Honda S2000.

The Level 1 Career Mode will be a breeze with this car and upgrade set. In fact, this car can easily be brought up to level 2 or 3 and still be the best in its class, making it easy to stack your cash and move on to the higher levels quickly.

Driving the Car Level 1 1/2 Mile
Don't hold the gas pedal down when you start, even though it is going to be a perfect start if you hold it all the way down. Try to keep the RPMs between about 6 and 8 for the start.

Get ready for a very quick shift as soon as your wheels catch the ground and stop spinning in 1st gear. You are going to want to aim for perfect shifts all the way through, but don't be surprised if you miss a few.

2nd Gear is pretty straight-forward - just aim for a perfect shift at about 8000 RPMs. 3rd Gear is very short, so be ready to shift into 4th right away. a slightly easier shift from 4th to 5th, and about the same deal going from 5th to 6th gear.

You are going to hit 6th gear pretty quickly, so expect 6th gear to appear a bit longer than the previous ones to balance out the top speed. The fastest time achieved with this car thus far on the 1/2 mile race by our team is 19.080.
