Driving the Car Level 1 1/4 Mile

Aim for a good start or perfect start from the beginning. Avoid starting from a flat engine, and avoid revving all the way. Hit your nitrous right as you shift into second gear, you can actually press both at the exact same time if you like.

Shifting into 3rd, 4th and 5th gear works best if done at a very late 'good' or blue shift. You can nail the late good shift right after 6000 RPMs. The top time we have been able to get with this car thus far is 12.85 on the 1/4 mile. Not quite as fast as the Mazda Rx-8 in 1/4 mile races at level 1, but still a very formidable (and stylish) car.
