The Alfa Romeo GT is a beautiful level 1 car. Although you may not be able to get some of the fastest times that you normally see Honda S2000's and some other cars pull off, you can definitely turn your Alfa Romeo into an awesome car that will still win the majority of races you enter.

Driving the Car Level 1 1/2 MileYou won't be having any nitrous to use when using this upgrade and tuning set, but the powerful engine in the Alfa Romeo is enough to get you a solid time nonetheless. In our opinion, sometimes, driving in style is better than chipping away at milliseconds with your Honda S2000 like everybody else.
- DO NOT skip first gear with this tune. Many racers hold their pedal all the way down at the start and switch to 2nd gear as soon as the race starts - this will not work at all with this car and tune, so don't do it.
- Aim for a "good start". perfect starts seem to add a bit of overspin in 1st gear, but still do just fine. You can also decide to avoid touching the pedal at all and start from 0 for a great time - this might actually be the best choice for most racers.
- Allow your wheels to spin in the beginning, and wait until you reach "good shift" to switch to second, or slightly before that.
- The rest of the gears are pretty straight-forward. You will have an EXTREMELY small window to get the "perfect shift" in just about every gear, so you should probably aim for a late "good shift" to avoid over revving your engine - at least until you get more used to the car.

TIPSFor the best shifting speed, keep in mind that a "good shift" will usually change to a "perfect shift" JUST after your RPMs reach the number 7. I have found that focusing on the RPMs after 2nd or 3rd gear and simply shifting up every time it hits 7 will give you a pretty good time every race.
5th and 6th gear are a bit tweaked, so you may want to switch from 5th to 6th slightly early.
